We just got back from a (almost) week long trip to Lake Chelan. We had a really good time, although you can't tell from the picture of the boys! I will write more about our time, but wanted to at least get something up since I have been blogless for so long. I posted more pictures on my flickr, so follow the link to look at them.

2nd child syndrome?

No 2nd child syndrome here. I think we have 1st child syndrome.

We aren't going to have many pictures of Judah. He is too busy to stay still for a picture. Or if we are able to catch him, it usually turns out like this one.

We will have a lot of pictures of Cohen...until he starts to run from me too. I better work on my action shots!

Or I could just bribe him with cake to sit still.

Today Cohen had his 6 month check-up. He is 27 1/2 inches and 17 pounds. We had a photo shoot today for a little fathers day "something" I am working on. Here is a sneak peek at one of the pictures.

craft time part 2

I got some craft time tonight. I made this little blanket for Cohen. It has a cereal wrapper inside so it is crinkly and fun! I am pretty happy with the way it turned out.

I've been wanting to do crafts with Judah for awhile now. Cohen wasn't napping in his crib until a few days ago, so I never had time with just Judah. I found a new blog No Time for Flash Cards, it has a lot of fun ideas and it motivated me to finally start a craft time with Judah. My plan is to do a craft every morning with Judah during Cohen's nap. We made a "B" today. I hung it in the window so we can add the rest of the alphabet to it. Maybe tomorrow we will do "A".

(Liz, I remember you either talking or blogging about a craft blog for kids, is this the one? Or is there another good one out there?)

Judah has decided he likes chalk. He also likes the abc's, mostly the letters M, A, and B. Why those? I have no idea. The other day I was making dinner and Justin and the boys were outside. Judah came in and drew with his chalk on our floor in several different rooms. I guess I should have known when he was saying "A" over and over again. It almost looks like an "a" though doesn't it?

4 years

It's our 4th anniversary today. Boy has it gone by fast! We got to go away this past weekend to Sol Duc Hot Springs (to lazy to link it, you can google it) for 2 nights with no kids. It was great. I REALLY needed a vacation!

I really want to paint our front door. I am trying to decide between red or black, but leaning very heavily towards red. Any opinions?
