I have more pictures to put up and want to tell you all about the birth and how we're doing. But wanted to at least get a picture up for now. :)

pillows are cool

Every time we walked through the Walmart fabric section Judah would spot the sample Thomas pillow they had hanging. This weekend we were there with my mom and she decided I should make it for him, so they found the fabric and the right size pillow. Judah clung (seriously...clung!) to the fabric the rest of the time we were in the store. :) Yesterday I put it together for him and today he got to try it out for his nap. He's never slept with a pillow before, so I wasn't sure how he would do with it. It looks like he figured it out.

He's had a cough for over a week now that has gradually gotten worse. I am trying to decide if I should take him to the doctors. Normally I wouldn't, but I really don't want him to be sick when Cohen is born. Any suggestions???

place your bets

I think its time for everyone to place some bets on when Cohen will decide to make his appearance. I wish I had a super cool prize to offer, but I don't, so hopefully the joy of winning is motivation for everyone to take a guess. :)

Some info to help you make your guess.

My due date is "officially" November 30th. My original due date was the 22nd. I am pretty sure of my dates...we did get pregnant first try remember. :) They then moved it to the 30th at the first ultrasound. At the 2nd ultrasound he measured 7 days big. Which would put the due date at the 23rd, but it has to be more than a weeks difference for them to move the date. So according to them it's still at the 30th.

I was induced with Judah 2 days after his due date. He weighted 8 pounds 3 ounces and was 21 1/2 inches long.

Lets hear:
1. date and time of birth
2. weight and size of Cohen

I know the girls at the coffee shop made guesses, so you girls need to post them on here so we can all see. :)

good riddance

I have posted about this guy before. Just wanted to add a link to a recent article on him.

I get disgusted every time I think about him. At least he keeps getting farther and farther from us.
Here is the link to my past blog about it.

no more reality please

Read the article below first.

I think it would be really interesting to see what all the networks would do if this really lasted. To have all of the big shows have to go into reruns would be huge. I love my t.v. shows. I have only a few I watch this year (I gave up on a bunch last season) Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, America's Next Top Model, Lost (can't wait for January), and Jericho (should be coming on around January too). I would be sad not to have those shows, but I would actually LOVE to see what this would do to our culture. With late night shows already going to reruns, it sounds like we should start to see the effects of it. It appears Soap Operas are next...but who needs them anyways! :) Most t.v. shows have enough to last awhile, but if the writers can stick it out we will see the effects.
I'm rooting for the writers. Be strong! Don't give in!

i like my son.

Judah is going to be a great big brother.

I'm ready....sooooo ready

I am still only 36 weeks so I know I need to keep Cohen cooking for at least a week. But once I'm at 37 weeks (considered full term) I am doing everything I can to induce my labor naturally.

I love being pregnant and both of my pregnancies have been really easy. I don't "really" mind the 3-5 months of throwing up every morning, I just know it is something that comes with the package. I enjoy feeling Cohen kick inside of me. This time that I get with him is so special to me. I grew him inside of me. I just find that so amazing. And in the end I get one of these:

(Had to get a picture in there of Judah, soon there is going to be a whole lot of Cohen...we don't want to forget big brother!)

But I am ready now. It's been long enough.

I am uncomfortable. Cohen MUST be uncomfortable. I have 3 shirts that fit and 1 pair of pants. I wake up constantly at night, yet during the day can't stay awake. Our house is a mess because I can't keep up with it all. I can't stand to have things not done, yet I can't muster up the energy to do them. I have so many people I want to hang out with before Cohen is born (I know after he is born it will be awhile before I can go anywhere with both boys!), but I just am so tired all the time that I don't have energy to do anything. I am so behind on my e-mails that I don't even know where to start. I still haven't wrote Judah's birthday thank you's. I am gathering quite the pile of things next to my sewing machine.

Okay. I think I'm done complaining. :) I might even feel a little better now.

Today I am trying to make some freezer meals. Justin has been really busy lately. He planned a lot of stuff for these last few/next few weeks so that he won't have anything after Cohen is born. I know I will be glad he did when he is able to be completely home for the 2 weeks after Cohen is born, but it is hard to have him gone so much when I am so tired. Judah is a busy boy. :)

After writing all that I think I am actually motivated to do something. I better take advantage of the moment. :)
