We are still cloth diapering. I am loving it. I am using my g-diaper covers with my prefold inserts. It has been working out very well for us. Justin still isn't thrilled, but I change more diapers than him, so I think I get to make diapering decisions. :) I just placed a order to try out bumgenius diapers. I am thinking these will work great for us once Cohen is born as they are a one size/adjustable diaper. I will be able to use the same diapers on both boys. Anything to make my life easier! I have heard really good things about them, and am very excited to try them. I also bought a package of flushable liners. You lay them in the diaper and then for poo's you just take the liner out and the poo comes with it. Supposedly it eliminates the "dunking" step.

Thats all I've got to say for now! :)

I wish I had those liners for my boys! So cool.
i definitely don't enjoy the "dunking step"...
and julia, you can feel free to still use the liners with your boys...
hehehehe
Oh I want to try BG diapers. Shalisa likes them as does everyone one else.
I just got Nolan a new diaper from thegoodmama.com
I will have to save up some pp and or work the budget. That way we can try the BG's
Were did you order yours from?
oh you can also lay flannel in them as liners if you have to use diaper cream. Also that is a good way to do it the first few weeks with Cohen. That way there is no staining on the inside.
I heard they are great. My friend who just adopted uses them and I am thinking of trying them when we get our sweet girl home. Not sure if I'm convinced yet. Keep posting, I'd like to know how it goes! :0)
Sometimes I just wonder who I am anymore!! I'm discussing cloth diapers on a blog, hmmm...... I love my life!!
Hey! you'll love the bumgenius. Sorry it took me so long to make my own order...I was waiting for them to have indian prefolds...and they just got them in before we left and then I didn't have time. Did you use cotton babies? Well, I just want to warn you that you probably don't want to use the flushable liners. Your choice, and your septic might be different than ours. Some say they are septic friendly, but from what I've read even the septic friendly ones aren't really that septic friendly. At least in our septic system we're not even supposed to flush paper towels. I really wanted them, but decided I couldn't risk flushing them, I thought about dumping them in a trash can next to the toilet like a disposable, but decided it would be too smelly. What you really might like if you don't like dunking is the diaper sprayer. LOTS of people love those. (Some think they spray outside the toilet though).
ew, justin!!
that's cool! I'm proud of you- i don't want to do that with my 7 children.
