I think it would be really interesting to see what all the networks would do if this really lasted. To have all of the big shows have to go into reruns would be huge. I love my t.v. shows. I have only a few I watch this year (I gave up on a bunch last season) Greys Anatomy, Private Practice, America's Next Top Model, Lost (can't wait for January), and Jericho (should be coming on around January too). I would be sad not to have those shows, but I would actually LOVE to see what this would do to our culture. With late night shows already going to reruns, it sounds like we should start to see the effects of it. It appears Soap Operas are next...but who needs them anyways! :) Most t.v. shows have enough to last awhile, but if the writers can stick it out we will see the effects.
I'm rooting for the writers. Be strong! Don't give in!

A few of the shows are getting ready to end early. I know Hero's has already re shot a December show just in case. That way the season will be all wrapped up.
I can't wait for Lost.
hmm, I may have to rethink that idea I had about hooking our cable back up. No point in paying for TV if there's a writer's strike. On the other hand, since I haven't had cable in about four month, reruns would be new to me and I wouldn't even know they were reruns!
sorry my link didn't work.
the LA times has a grid of what show's will go on and not.

That grid is really interesting. Thanks for posting it. I find this all so intriguing. :)
I for one Love reality tv. I'm not afraid to admit it. Living the life I have this past year with Josh deployed, has left me enjoying an escape from MY reality and living vacariously (sp?) through someone elses life.
I think its a shame they go on strike. There is no reason we cant have Reality and "Scripted" shows. Both are great.
