I learned my lesson

I've asked Justin several times to put up this leaf thing we have for Cohen's room. He hasn't been able to do it yet. I decided I could probably do it, just a few nails right? And it would be one less thing for him to have to do. I thought I had measured where I wanted it to go...but this is how it turned out:

It is touching the ceiling. Not what I wanted.

Now I have to ask Justin to pull out my nails, putty the wall, and put it back up in the right spot.

I should have just waited for him to do it.

So here is my advice for the day.

"IF YOU'RE GOING TO DO SOMEONE ELSE'S JOB MAKE SURE YOU CAN DO IT RIGHT. OTHERWISE YOU'RE JUST CAUSING MORE WORK FOR THAT PERSON, NOT HELPING THEM."

Hmmm....I can think of a lot of instances this would apply. :)

Since Cohen was watching I'm hoping he learned the lesson to.

Actually I think it is GREAT that you tried! I always leave that kind of stuff for Brad to do...and ya know what..I am still waiting..haha

in my defense, the reason i haven't put it up yet is because cohen's mobile projects images onto the ceiling and walls and if i put up the leaf, then it would make the projected images all jacked up.

i was waiting for him to move past his "mobile stage", that way i can put it up and he could enjoy the best of both worlds.

i'm still glad you tried.

i'd love to puty any and all holes you've ever put in our walls.
for ever.

It isn't more work for the other person if you go ahead and fix anything you decide is a mistake. If you can put it up you can take it down and accomplish a putty job too! It's not hard once you put your mind to it. :) Good work though, even if it isn't in the loco you wanted it. It's a cute canopy.
