The Cruise: Day 1

We spent the morning at the sculpture park in Seattle. It was a perfectly beautiful day to be there!

Then we headed to the ship. Boarding time officially started at 1, but I had read on-line that they usually started boarding as soon as they got all the previous weeks passengers off the ship. So we got there around 11 and were able to move right through the boarding process. I was pretty worried about the process...3 kids, a lot of luggage, and possible a lot of waiting in line...but it went perfect. We used the porters to take our luggage we were checking. $1 a bag, totally worth it. Then we just had our kids and our carry on luggage. I had packed swim stuff and toys and things in the carry on's because I had read we might not be able to access our rooms until dinner time but that wasn't the case, we were able to go to our rooms around 1. So it worked out perfectly for us to get on and have lunch on the lido deck and after exploring a little we were able to go to our rooms.

I don't have a lot of pictures from this day. I must have been overwhelmed with it all!
