Today Justin brought A&W home for lunch, and Judah being the little food beggar that he is ate some french fries. So, a little while later Judah and I were hanging out and I thought he was unusually quiet. I turned around to check on him and he had thrown up a little and was playing in it. Then he noticed the french fry mixed in with the throw up and picked it out and ate it. (it was just formula and the one french fry. not chunky throw up)
So I am reminded once again how gross boys really are. You might be thinking he did that because he is a baby and doesn't know better, but I am going to stand by my theory that he did it because he is a boy.
I have always thought boys are kinda gross. They smell funny and do really gross things. I had some guy friends in high school that did really gross things. (Sorry if you guys are reading this...but yes, you guys were gross.) I was never really sure about this whole idea of getting married to a boy. Don't get me wrong I wanted to meet my "prince charming" and ride off into the sunset like every girl does. But really to bring the stinkyness and the dirtyness into my life??? Not too sure about that.
So then I met Justin and thought I had it made. He showered regularly, was clean shaven (what happened to that? I don't know!), didn't burp/fart in public, never made those gross concoctions of random table items at restaurants and then ate it "just for fun", and the many other gross things that boys do. Then we got married and I found out that it really is true that ALL BOYS ARE GROSS. Now, I totally love Justin, but he is a boy, and he does gross things. Let me just reference you to this. My biggest pet peeve is him getting into bed dirty. (if you know me, you know how I feel about my bed!) And I'm not talking just dirty from a day at work (in his office), but softball game dirty, or mow the lawn in sandals dirty. It might be a step up from dirty into filthy. What girl would do those things and then climb into a nice clean bed??? None that I know.
So, I now believe that boys are gross because of nature NOT nurture. I have not trained Judah to be gross. And Justin is one of the "good ones", yet he is also gross.
Girls that are unmarried be warned - they are all gross. They're wonderful, but gross.

I love you. This whole thing is VERY true :)
yep. the title made me smile. so true. especially about the climbing into bed dirty. no matter how tired i am, i'll always shower if i'm dirty before climbing into bed. =)
thanks for the b-day wishes. i'm still recovering from being feverishly sick on my birthday, but as soon as i'm better, i want to hang out with you. you can bring your gross son if you want to. =)
I am glad you believe it is nature and not nuture that
'boys" are gross.
Love, Ma
(I agree by the way!)
that's really sick about Judah, haha. You really consider Justin to be one of the good ones? I remember that time we went to dunes camp and he showered once in two weeks, when you guys came home to pick up another group. and I saw his feet, those are scary!!
anyways. boys = dirty
this is possibly the greatest thing you have ever written... yeah, i'm not excited for marriage. ew.
molly, silly you! you posted under my name instead of yours!
